Karen Smith is proud of her career in Escrow that spans nearly five decades. Her journey began in 1978, when-still a high school student-she took a part-time job as a messenger and secretary in the escrow office where her oldest sister worked. While her initial ambition was to become a court reporter (a path she began exploring in college), the dynamic environment of real estate quickly sparked her interest and led her to discover her true calling. Within a year, she transitioned to full-time work and steadily advanced, first as a Jr. Escrow Officer and soon after as a full-fledged Escrow Officer. Family is at the heart of Karen’s life. She is blessed with four wonderful children and seven energetic grandchildren, and she cherishes their time together outdoors-whether camping, relaxing by the lake, or soaking up the sun at the beach. Volunteering has also been an important part of her journey. Karen worked with the American Cancer Society and as a Relay for Life Walk Ambassador has deepened my sense of commitment and brought a spirit of positivity to both my professional and personal endeavors.
Over the past 47 years, she has had the privilege of working with independent escrow companies, title companies, and broker-owned escrows. These experiences have allowed her to form lasting relationships that go beyond business,-many clients have become lifelong friends. Karen’s expertise encompasses sales, refinances, mobile homes, manufactured homes, bulk, and commercial transactions. Professionally, she takes pride in my meticulous attention to detail, her skill in contract review and coordination, and her commitment to clear, effective communication from the opening of escrow to the final closing. Her goal is to ensure that every transaction is handled with care and accuracy-creating a stress-free experience for buyers, sellers, agents, and lenders alike, As you consider your next real estate transaction, she looks forward to the opportunity to support you with the same dedication, expertise, and personal touch that have defined her career.
